The hour may be
late, but Team AD are coming riding
over the horizon to rescue you from tedium and teatime.
And with Europe ablaze and balance-sheet tyranny at its
height, it's evidently not a moment too soon.
Since our last update, the epoch-defining double disc of 'The
Red Album' has received many stirling notices;
indeed, in the end-of-year reports it was rated # 23 in
Mick Mercers Top 30 albums of the year and #20 in DJ Kev36663s
top 20 albums of the year...if you haven't bought your

The band then took a few months off to work on a
multitude of other projects; Lottie's industrial project Malevolent Angel produced a new E.P, Emma's Pray
for Control recorded a new demo, Joel &
Lotties thrash band Mikoyan made their
debut gig, as well as Joel & Emmas sleazegoth project
Quasimodo and Joel's joustpunk generals I
Demand Satisfaction both starting afresh. There
will evidently be a few more chapters to write in the AD
Discography when it comes.
Now, the band are back in the saddle. To get into the
swing of things, Action Directe will be performing at the
newly relaunched industrial punk club Integration over the next three months.
The first event will feature a standard AD set, but the
following gigs will feature impish new tunes and a
revamped line-up.

The takehome message is - prepare for a live splurge, a
new E.P in time for the Euros and some warm,
international solidarity...more news as we get it. But
for now, just rejoice.
